Today I had the opportunity to present a program to a group of 1st grade Cub Scouts about the Roselle community. In researching for this program I found out a lot of interesting and unique information about Roselle. When the Cub Scout Troop from Nerge came tonight, they seemed to be just as impressed with our history as I was. We compared the community from the past with the community as it is now. We even saw a picture of the first school house built in this town. After viewing a picture show, the boys then created community maps of their own. They were so creative and made sure that every part of the community was strategically placed on the map. We ended our program with a tour of the library.
Thanks for coming in Cub Scouts! I hope you had fun!
