"Read Across America"

“Read Across America” is an annual event to celebrate reading to a child. What better time to do it than March, the anniversary of the birth of Theodor Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss.

We have a whole bulletin board dedicated to "Read Across America"! Some picture books that take place in different places around the United States are highlighted on a map that identifies where the setting of the book is. Come and check these special books out this month!

To pick up a book and read to a child”
