A Full Moon

Tonight's the night that the lunar cycle is going to reach the full moon stage! How exciting! Have you ever seen a full moon before?

NASA has cataloged 6,000 years worth of lunar cycles. We know how the moon will orbit Earth all the way through the year 4000. Those tables are definitely worth checking out.

Sometimes people say they can see a face on the moon. Tonight, when you look at the moon, draw what you see on this coloring sheet.

If the moon comes out while you're asleep, don't worry! You can always check out a book about the moon or look through NASA's images to see pictures of what you missed.
