Election Day

Today is the day that Americans vote for the next President of the United States! Adults ages 18 and older are going to the polls to make their voices heard! Did you know that at one time in history in the United States not all citizens were allowed to vote? Thankfully, that time is over and all people are welcome to cast their vote and make a choice for their country.

Want to learn more about how the President is elected?

Are you interested in learning about women who fought for the right to vote?

Or, would you like to learn about the Civil Rights Movement that worked to ensure freedom for all people, no matter what color their skin is?

We have books on all of those topics!

Enjoy!
