Friends of the Library

Mrs. Seuss here to tell you about some special friends that we have at the library.  We have some wonderful community members who call themselves "The Friends of the Roselle Public Library."  Why am I telling you this?  During the week of October 18, it is National Friends of the Libraries Week.  These special people donate their time to raise funds for specific library projects.  Some of the programs they have helped fund are "Grandparents Got Game," and the "Summer Reading Program" for all age levels.

Why just this weekend they will be holding the Fall Book Sale where you can pick up incredible deals on some gently used books.  It's always great to add titles to your own personal home collection and while you are there browsing for just the right book, you can wish the volunteers a "Happy Pre-National Friends of the Libraries Week."  You know, if you have been following my blogs, I did one on "Choose Kind."  The Friends of the Roselle Public Library do indeed exhibit the traits of kind behavior through all their volunteer time they donate to the library.  Without them, we wouldn't be able to provide some of the great services the library has to offer.  So let me say on behalf of the Roselle Library Staff, thank you, Friends for all that you do for us!
