Homework Help

As school starts again, I thought I'd remind you of a great resource the library website has to help you with your studies.  It's on the Kid's Page and it's called Homework Help.  The page has a link to Live Homework Help through Tutor.com which provides assistance to children and adults.  Roselle card holders can access this site 24/7, with live tutors being available from 4-10 p.m. daily.

Need to use an encyclopedia as a resource but don't have time to get into the
library?  Access World Book from the warmth of your home.  You can get maps, photographs and videos to use on your project.  Don't forget to check out how to cite your source.  We offer links to help you get that good grade on your bibliography page.

Need help with math?  Khan Academy has some great tutorials to help with those tricky math problems.  Need to learn your addition, subtraction, multiplication or division facts?  We got some great links that will help you learn those important math skills.

Recently we had a great suggestion from a patron to add a safety section to the page with links to teach children about fire, weather and home hazards.  When you have a chance, check out those new resources.  If you find a great resource we should add, send us an email and we'll check it out.  If we like your suggestion, we will add it to our site.
