Check out our November Programs

I'm back to tell you about all the exciting November programs we have to offer you!  Let's first start with our storytime theme for our second Fall session.  It's Foodie Patootie!  Come join us for stories based on food.  Doesn't that sound delicious!  Remember we offer daytime stories times for 6 month through 5 years old.  Also drop-in storytimes on Thursday mornings and Tuesday evenings for all ages.  Check out the events page for times and registration requirements.

"Czytajmy po polusku!"  Let's Read in Polish is back on Sunday, November 12th.  Children ages 0-6 are welcome to attend to hear stories in Polish.  Parents or caregivers must attend.

Books and Popcorn meets again on November 2nd.  The title to be discussed is called Have a Hot Time Hades! by Kate McMulan.  It's part of the Myth-O-Mania series.  Hades and his siblings were swallowed whole by their father, Cronus, Ruler of the Universe.  Why you ask?  Just because there was a prophecy that said one of his children would overthrow him one day and take over the universe.  Will they escape and take over the world?  Read the book and then come join Miss Liz to discuss it, eat popcorn and do a fun activity!

Everyone loves building with Legos!  Drop-in on Monday, November 20th when the kids are off school for Thanksgiving break.  Let your imagination flow from 12-2 pm.  Bring your friends with to collaborate on a creation.  Then display your completed masterpiece in the Youth Services Department for all of Roselle to admire!

Kreative Kids hosts another engaging program called "Glow-Time" on Thursday, November 2nd.    Children in K-2 are encouraged to attend to hear some stories and then complete a craft or science project based on the subject.

There is one more big program in November that I'll share with you in a few weeks. Here's a little Rebus clue....
