Reading Takes You Everywhere!

I just cannot believe it is that time of year again!  The Roselle Public Library's summer reading program is just about ready to begin.  I'm here to give you a sneak peek at what the summer holds for you when you come to the library to visit us.  Your child might  even be begging you to take them to the library to sign up for summer reading due to Miss Stephanie spreading the word through her school visits.  Unfortunately your child will have to wait a bit longer because the first day to sign up for this epic program is Monday, June 4th, the day after the Rose Parade.

On June 4th, we hope to see the whole family here at the library.  We will have a one stop sign up table downstairs the first week so that everyone can register at the same time.  Or you can even do it from the comfort of your own couch with online registration.  We've got you covered!

But don't go away yet!  Youth Services has a jammed packed schedule of events to help make the summer interesting and entertaining.  Story times begin the week of June 11 and run through the week of July 19th.  Drop by on Monday mornings starting on June 11th  through July 23rd for Krafty Kids.  But that is not all!!  On Thursday afternoons there will be special family programs starting at 1 PM.  The amazing part - all these are absolutely free!  All you need to do is register.

There are many other fun activities I will share with you over the next few weeks.  Please stop by and pick up one of our handy brochures or browse the library events calendar to learn more.  This is my favorite time of the year because I get to see so many of you enjoying books!  If you are ever in a pickle as to what you should read, stop by the "Ask Me" Desk and talk with our well-read staff.  We can suggest some great titles.  And don't forget to let "Reading Takes You Everywhere!"
